This is a great trail. Very much enjoyed this as there was a lot of diversity. There was some elevation change but there were a lot of switch backs so it was not steep. I would rate it moderate. From the trail access off the parking lot we turned onto North View Trail and ended with the Maze Loop Trail. Going this direction, I believe the hike was easier. Also saw window rock as the Thunderbird and as we passed it turned to a square window like the book said. We completed Maze Loop several years ago from the other direction and completely miss Window Rock.
