Hike was on compact snow and ice using Micro Spikes for traction. Temperature was 25 degrees at 0900. This hike usually has a good amount of foot traffic not today. Cold weather and overcast kept the crowds away today. Only saw 3 other hikers. There are many shorter routes to the top of Saddle Rock but I took the standard longer trail which was the trail of least resistance. I took my time and enjoyed scenery and the view from the top. I got to the Saddle and then backtrack to the benches, sat down had a quick snack and enjoyed the view of our beautiful Wenatchee Valley. I am so Blessed to live here!!
