Start River Road West at BBNP entrance, took a detour down to Saint Elena Canyon for the wonderful views. Then followed RR West until we arrived at our campground Solis 2. Recommend taking the hike up to the abandoned Quicksilver Ore mine and smelted facility. Worth the effort and time. Budget about 45-60 minutes at a fast walking pace.
