Came to a dicey tunnel and went 4/5 of the way through it, but encountered - 30 ft o glare ice at the far end, that I didn’t want to chance. It was going to be short walk when, as I was coming out of the tunnel, a bicyclist coming my way veered to his left ( SW). I, of course, followed him and ended up taking an alternative route ( where the RR power line used to go) around the tunnel. The upshot of this was to add 4.5 miles to my walk. I have now been on both ends of the trestle, but not crossed it.
