Hoped that the recent rains would mean better flows through the canyon and at Switzer Falls, but while it definitely ran all the way down, the creek and falls had clearly been filled with sandy sediment and the pools had disappeared. But it is still a beautiful hike, with two separate long creekside shaded areas along the bottom of canyon, and a segment in the middle along an rugged exposed ridge. Highly recommend the trail, but remember to bring your National Forest Recreation Pass!
