Guidebook says “good campsite” around mile 8.3 can be found by following Peepsight Trail a short ways to Andrews Creek. Nice idea but the Peepsight Trail was nowhere to be seen. I did a visual double check and consulted Gaia map as well. Nothing. So I found a very rare semi-level small surface right next to trail at 8.9 miles and made camp there. Not the best experience but one does what one needs to do!
