Left Sovana Bistro at 10:15 PM and drove to Oxford. Picked up sprocket and loaded the rest of my gear for the trip. Approximately three hours in to the drive I was pulled over doing 83 and given a ticket for doing 65 in a 55. Shortly after that I began falling asleep and couldn't recover. Parked at a vista an hour from the trailhead and slept in the car where I awoke at 6:15 AM. Made it to the trailhead and was on the trail by 8 AM Mon Aug 24. Came off the trail at 6:15 PM Tuesday, August 25.
