Black Lake via Bear Lake TH

Got to Glacier Gorge TH at 5:45am, totally full, so on to Bear Lake TH. Most gorgeous trail, with small water crossings, board walks over marshy areas, rocks to walk in, streams, waterfalls lakes. Saw elk, marmot, rabbit, squirrels, and lots of fish!! Jim caught over 40, I caught 5 before my feet froze and I had to warm up on the sunny rock. Yes, there were mosquitos, but I had my hat and repellent. Definitely going to do this hike again, probably twice before we leave end of September. Did this hike again on Friday 9/18/20. Brookies still biting, I caught & released 11 🎣😊. Gorgeous sunny day!
