SBFC worked this section of trail with a three-person crew for two 8-day hitches in 2023. The crew cleared over 400 trees from the trail in this 4-mile stretch.
There are 8 miles of Camptender remaining to be cleared to connect with the Sulphur Creek Trail where longer loop itineraries are possible.
