Hiked w/ Lark & Storm
Trail: excellent condition
Weather: Sunny, clear skies, windy & a crisp 58 F at start. Cooler at the summit, but sunny & totally gorgeous.
Wildlife: saw a mama deer & her two yearlings, lizards, squirrels, birds
Other Hikers: passed two solo female hikers. Got passed by a trail runner solo man & a solo female hiker. At summit met her, Claire! Met also a couple who took photo of us.
Register: Some kind soul place a notebook to sign in at the summit. The pen didn’t work.
Highlight Of The Hike:
1) No injuries
2) Bagged another summit
3) Lark & Storm did amazing!
4) We had one of the best time to reach the summit 2.1 hrs! Yay us! Not easy.
Learning Points:
1) Hydration & Food
2) Good Hiking boots, layers of clothing, trekking poles helpful
3) Headlamp if you start late in the day
4) GPS - I use Gaia
