West Fork Clear Creek exploration. Sketchy snow day! Lots of settling! Took old bench cut up to what seemed like the end then stayed low angle as possible (still some sketch spots) while ascending through trees. With a slight change in aspect, I reached large open drainage in which the slope angle increased. Snow felt denser as aspect changed. I stayed in the trees, considered the slope, and turned around. Picture is of end of old road/trail cut on small roll over.
