Parked in Sno Park lot. Will need a Sno Park permit. Cross I-90 to get on the “trail” (it’s all on olde forest or logging roads). The snow is packed at the start, and for the first two miles I hiked in a snowshoer’s tracks. At the major spot in the trail I went right and had to put on my snowshoes for the rest of the journey. I recommend snowshoes as even with mine on I was dropping below my ankles in the snow. There are some clear sites along the way up affording great views of the I90 corridor and the southern peaks. As I was ascending I saw clouds approaching from the west. They overtook me long before I made it to the top. So I had misty fog for a view at the end. The snow is deep enough to need snowshoes for travel. Saw some tracks that looked like bear and a few I thought might be mountain lion, but I also have an active imagination
