The trailhead for this hike is located 5 miles up Fall Creek Access road. A high clearance vehicle is helpful. The hike is a club favorite for the spectacular views and fall colors. The total distance of the lollipop loop hike is 6.2 miles with 1600 feet of elevation gain. The hike begins with a walk up Fall Creek road, and we then will go off-trail through a series of open meadows and bush whacking through aspen groves. The half-way point is Windy Pass where we will take our lunch break. After a series of uphill climbs with spectacular views of East Fork as well as views to the north, we close the loop with the walk back down the road to the vehicles.
