A trek from the trailhead down to Skeleton Point and back. Unfortunately, I left my camera on a ledge at Skeleton Point where we had lunch. I remembered it on our way up (I was wondering why the ascent seemed so light!) just above Cedar Ridge and booked it back down asking every hiker I saw on the way up if they'd seen it. Unfortunately it was gone when I got down. Someone probably took it on down to Phantom Ranch. I filled out a report at the Visitors Center in the Village and hopefully it will surface. The ranger said it would probably take a week for it to come back to the canyon rim from the Ranch. But you'll notice 4 lines from Cedar Ridge to Skeleton Point. Considering this extra travel I expect we could have gone to Phantom Ranch and back though the Parks Service doesn't advise it. I traveled about the same distance and elevation change.
