Parked the car in downtown Darrington around 6am and rode the gravel bike North to Sauk Prairie Road and then headed East. Turned right on to Forest Service Road 24 and began the climb to the Gold Mountain Tower. I took the access road to the tower and then headed South along the ridge to a weather station location and then descended to the Whitechuck boat launch area. After looking at the river levels, I returned via the Mountain Loop Highway to Darrington and played at the BMX pump track also.
