Hike up to silver lake was pretty chill, no snow. Camped there by the lake at a beautiful camp spot, above the out feed waterfall. Next day up to twin lakes was very tough because of the snow. We didn’t have mini spikes, or ice axes and it made the climb up very dangerous. We also had to drop about 500ft to the lake shore to camp. Made the next morning that much harder. Got up at 530am to try to get down while the ice was still firm. Much easier going down. Got to the car around the same time we left on Friday.
