Got into the park at 5:30am. Highly recommended to start Angels Landing at the front of the pack. If you're a faster paced hiker it will save you from the traffic jam until you're coming back down. This makes the switch backs and the climbing at the top more interesting. Awesome views up top and had a fun time scrambling up the rock faces where the chains were.Traffic wasn't so heavy on the trip back down, so we were able to jog most of it with only a minimal amount of stoppages. Took Lower Emerald as an easy hike to help cool the leg muscles down. Angels is a short trail, and rated hard due to the ascent of the switch back, the heights factor that bothers some people, and the need for sure footing in a lot of places at the top. Emerald is easy and enjoyable as a cool down trail.
