74-80s. Partly cloudy, HOT, humid, still, transitioning to overcast with fog drifting over peaks. Insanely difficult hike for how short it was. Maybe the hardest hike I’ve ever done in terms of elevation change per mile. No one on trail despite there being a ton of people at the overlook and on the AT. Back door inaccessible; seemed to pop out in someone’s yard. Lots of breaks on climb out. Minimal pain.
