Spent The night at Turner Bend cabin…The Carriage House. (Right on Hwy 23) LOVED IT. Price was $215 for the smallest one-room cabin. They said it was $139 when we asked and we said yes we will take it but then she asked for $215…. 😳 said there’s a $65 cleaning charge and $20 taxes😨 The people were really nice but that’s a little pricey!! Got up and grabbed breakfast at the Turner Bend store (parked across the street from the store) and started our trip down Shore Lake Drive to see Shore lake. 9:30 am. Temp 50° Drove mostly gravel roads today. One road was washed out. Drove up to White Rock overlook but You couldn’t ride OHV’s all the way up and we did not feel like walking 1/2+ uphill.🤦🏼♀️ Lots of big rock cliffs to see. Nice easy ride Got back at 3:00. Temp 73°
