It takes about 1.25 miles to get to the Trail from the parking lot. Nice hike along a stream most of the way, very wooded and steep slopes on both sides. At about the 2 mile mark you start climbing some large rocks but nothing to hard. At the 3 mile mark you will need to bush-wack to continue in many spots. Kid friendly. The trail is a combination of sand, dirt and rocks. You can filter water. We saw Deer, coyote, lizards on our hike.
