Strenuous day hike for a casual hiker.. Views not super awesome but nice.
Sign about quarter mile from the trailhead says you need to get a permit to go further.
You need a state pass as well as a Forest service pass so look into those in Idlewild before heading to the trailhead.
Overall nice hike took about 4 hours with lunch at Suicide Rock.
