9 miles +/- day 1, dropped below freezing Sunday night
Not a very strenuous section, which was nice. Set camp at AT-Jacks Knob trail intersection. Ok, but not great site, needs more establishment as a campsite. Big surprise, down to freezing again overnight. Next day a little more elevation gain. Took most of day to get to Unicoi Gap around 2pm.
