Fun vertical effort. After turning off on Beauty Cr. gained elevation quickly! Firm snow in east facing bowl beginning about 6500 feet made it easier to climb this stretch. Ridgeline on top was largely snow free. Slowed down on the class 3 bits but got to the summit in 02:45. Was nervous about going down the same way due to the lack of ice ax but found a snow free scree slope that took me part way down and then glissaded the rest. Picked up the pace once getting back on trail. Certainly feel like I can do the route quicker, maybe closer to 4 hours.
