McCrystal Creek Camp, Beatty Lakes

The Beatty Lakes ride can be a out and back ride or you can make your own loop. There are established trails to the lakes. However, the lakes may be dry. There are plenty of Boy Scouts hiking the area as well. This trek takes you by a cemetery on the Sealy Canyon trail as well as remnants of a possible community. You go through several fence gates also. The Windmill at Beatty Lakes is a peaceful place to have lunch and enjoy the tremendous view along with prairie dogs barking. Fresh water also at the windmill to water horses.
