Surprisingly scenic trail. Wooded ravines everywhere. Encountered very few people (except, of course, on the Towpath Trail, which was filled with cyclists). The portion of the trail that connects down to the Towpath Trail had several stretches that were gravel, which Winnie did not seem to enjoy. Relatively buggy for the middle of the day. The trail was very on the wider side in places, but it did not detract from the experience. Great for off-leash time for Winnie. This was a particularly scenic portion of the Towpath Trail. Passed by a pond with turtles and many croaking frogs. With Winnie.
