Put in at Potash west of Moab UT. During the day, the temp rose to the upper 60's and we were able to paddle with just a T-shirt on. As soon as the sun went down, temps plummeted to 28 deg F by midnight. Water temp was cold 42 deg F. No wind and beautiful scenery. Rapids after Spanish Bottom (camp 3) are consistent Class II & III for the whole day 4 with a couple of solid class IV's out there. After the rapids stop, try to get in as much paddling as you can because the next day is all paddling for 25 miles to Dirty Devil (Glencoe)!
