Beeks Bight Loop (2/5/22, 9:37:38AM)
This is a nice 3 mile loop that starts at the parking lot at Beeks Bight and runs around a small hill. While there is some up and down it is by and large gentle. Much of the trail runs through woodland so it offers some shade (we hiked it on a spring-like February day and recognized it would like be a hot dry hike in midsummer). Most of the trail is multi-use and we encountered a lot of mountain bikers. There were also hoof prints and manure along the way be we didn’t see any horses. This would likely make a nice trail running loop. There’s a pit toilet at the parking lot but I didn’t see any water.
