Nice hike with lots of wide open views. You can access Sidewinder Trail from this same trailhead--either right at the beginning or merge over after a couple miles. This hike is a little less strenuous ascent-wise, but it's longer. The views are comparable but the peak of Sidewinder is just a little more majestic and higher.
