Sunny, 80*. After spending the morning over coffee and danish with Morteza we launched at state park and went upriver. Current is strong over half the time. We made it back in half the time it took to go up. Water down couple feet with no rain recently which probably helped ease the current and enhanced visibility that was 20ft. Islands, lots of beach spots, all nature, clear water, and the background hills made for great hike.
