Devil’s Lake State Park is located in Baraboo, Wisconsin, and is Wisconsin’s most popular state park with about 3 million visitors per year. The over 9,000-acre park anchors more than 27,000 acres of parkland and natural areas open to public recreation in Sauk County.
The main area and trails get extremely crowded on weekends. Holidays generally see the park turn away visitors due to capacity concerns. The off the beaten path trails with parking outside the main North and South shore areas provide a much quieter experience.
Wi State Park pass. Daily passes are available.
Allowed, but must remain on leash at all times.
Dogs are not allowed at the main swimming beaches. There is a dog friendly beach on the south shore and dog swim areas near the boat landings.
