For the overview to describe this as an ‘easy hike’ is very misleading. It’s an awesome hike for sure! and definitely worth doing, but there’s plenty of scrambling spots where you need to use the ropes that are built-in to get yourself up and down. This is not a hike you could take pets up all the way down unless you have them harnessed to your body, and it’s not for small kids or older people to be able to go all the way down to the springs, many will turn around.
All that being said it’s not super long in distance. Overall awesome hike great hot springs and At the very end and refreshing in crystal clear 60° river coming out of the bottom of the Hoover dam!

We started at 9:30 am on August 30, and it took us about ah hour to do the hike. It was getting pretty hot by 10:30. I'd recommend going earlier and watching the sun rise from the highground parking area. Caution: Do not continue to head east on the cow trail when you should turn south at the end of the signs. Check your maps and reviews so you know where you're going. As always, bring plenty of water, waypoint your car, tell someone where you're going.

One of the most rewarding hikes in the south Nevada area. some areas can be difficult for beginner hikers

Amazing views of the Grand Canyon without the crowds of tourists. Do not recommend going alone. 4x4 with high clearance and extra fuel required to reach this location.

Suuuuuuper easy. Flat trail through the old railroad tunnels. Currently blocked after tunnel #5 (10/2020) but I believe you can hike all the way to Hoover Dam

I always wanted to climb to the top of this mountain since I was a teen camping across the lake at lake mead. So cool to finally make it in my 50’s

This is a 3.5 mile each way Starting at willow beach, AZ to frog man petroglyphs on the Nevada side. Beware of winds as they can really pick up and you will be against the stream coming back to willow beach marina. At the 3.5-4 miles green marker there is a beach with a road, stay to the left and hike up to the overlook.

Great fresh water lake on which to boat or camp. I’ve even done some advanced scuba training here. Many campgrounds and lots of hiking trails.

Easy power line road for the first few miles. The down hill section was very washed out with boulders from 18" to 24". A few steep shelves about 2' feet deep. It is slow going and make sure you pick good lines and you will be fine. I would recommend 4x4, good ground clearance and lockers. I did this in a 2016 stock Jeep Unlimited Rubicon. Bring plenty of water and some kind of shade.
