A lovely rolling trail through the woods to Wolf Pond. Lots of old growth, but lots of new groves.

About a 75 min drive from my place. Blue Ridge Road to a half mile difficult gravel rock path to the pond.

Great views with minimal effort. Well laid out, gradual trail. As other review mentions, it is 2.75 miles each way

Nice hike with rewarding views. It starts of with a moderate up hill for about 1/2 to 3/4 of a mile, then levels off and descends before returning to mostly up hill at about 1.6 miles in. Nice vistas along the way, final vista has great views of The Hudson River, North Creek, Gore Mountain and panoramic views of the southern Adirondacks. Trail Head marker indicates 2.1 mile hike. Our 3 GPS devices recorded a distance to the final pinnacle of 2.75 - 2.85 miles. Well worth it, moderate would be my rating but I am no expert so others may rate it easier. It took us about 2 hours to ascend and descend. Enjoy
