This was the most difficult terrain I have ever encountered. Windfall and deadfall, 2’ of snow in areas, bushwhacking through dense 6-10’ evergreens on pitches of 45+ degrees. I loved almost every minute of it... I plan to do this hike again in the fall. I’ve learned a lot about my gear and what I can live without.
