There is one place where you have to scramble over boulders and it’s steep. The trail is great after that. The falls are a little hard to see due to vegetation but it’s still a beautiful, peaceful hike.

Nice moderate hike up a side canyon in Cimmeron Canyon State Park and the Colin Neblett Wildlife Management Area. Mostly easy walking but a few spots get a little steep and technical. Beautiful in the fall with Aspen, Scrub Oak and Willows in full color. About a mile in several waterfalls and water slides begin to dot the creek and add to the scenery. The trail continues further but this seemed like a good place to turn around on this day.

Very well maintained trail. We came during the snow melt so there were beautiful waterfalls and rivers. Highly recommend for a short day trip.

Although we didn’t make it to the end, we did get past the narrow scramble area after the small pool. All in all a great hike, with a trail that has some rocks and tree roots along the trail.
