Allaire State Park is a 3,205 acre state park in Monmouth County, New Jersey that is best known for its historic village. The Manasquan River runs through the park and is great for canoeists and fishermen. Hikers, mountain bikers and horseback riders will enjoy the trails in the park. Camping is available for a fee. There is a visitor center, a museum and steam locomotives within the park.
There are 3 easy hiking trails in the park with the longest being the Green Trail at 4.5 miles. There is a 16.5 mile moderate multi-use trail that is marked with orange blazes.
There are several moderate hiking trails in the main day-use section of the park which can be accessed from the main parking lot. The “South Side” of the park has varying terrain and miles of unmarked trails as well as four primary marked multi-use trails. There is a large gravel parking lot on Hospital Road with a trail-head that provides access to the South Side trails.
An entrance fee is charged on weekends from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day. There is no charge for walk-ins or bicycle riders. Another thing to consider is that a portion of Allaire State Park is available for deer hunting only.

There are pet friendly campsites in the park but you will need to register your pet with the park office when you arrive.
