A lot of birds, and a nice lake to hike around, was an easy and short hike, some of the stairs and bridges are in rough shape.

Very nice hike accessible from Taylor Ridge campground down into streambed and looping back. Moderate intensity

Awesome place to view fall foliage in Indiana. I recommend going during the week, if possible. It’s a popular park, especially during the fall, so very crowded on the weekends. Still a great hike.

Great family friendly hike around the lake. The view was perfect and you were kept cool in the shade. Very easy for children. We had a 2 year old with us.

This is a great little hike to take in the fall when the leaves are changing. The loop around the lake offers many opportunities to photograph varied scenes.

Not particularly outstanding for a trail at BCSP. Does not hit any look out points, and is not a direct route to Ogle Lake if you leave from the sign post. I would leave from our rally point and take the more direct and scenic route to the lake next time.

Taylor Ridge Campground has a typical and customizable running road course expandable to include Raccoon Ridge and Buffalo Ridge campgrounds, as well as the rest of the park. The campgrounds offer more level terrain then the rest of the park, but offer an excellent starting point to feed in running and walking trails and road courses throughout the rest of the park.
