LOVED the fall colors, we got lucky finding a parking spot at 10:30 AM.

We hiked the Burro trail loop. Great wildflower viewing and beautiful views. It’s a workout.

This is a great trail in Golden Gate Canyon State Park. It was 2/3rds snow covered and some ice in places: we were glad to be wearing our spikes.
In late spring there are lots of wildflowers, especially in Fraser Meadow. We usually see moose there in the fall, too.

Good challenging hike. Last 100 yds very challenging. Hiked to western peak

Nice hike. Mostly shaded on the uphill half (counter clockwise). Definitely cooler than in Denver, particularly near the top

Trial was well marked and maintained. A couple stretches of rocky footing where you start to feel the burn (near wind peak/lookout). Other than that a great hike but not much for scenery beyond the hills around you

Nice moderate hike great for kids or adults. Expect ice and snow during the winter.

I took blue grouse - mule deer - snowshoe hare - mule deer - blue grouse. This was a taxing route that was challenging. Compared to my favorite route in the park, Mt Lion, this trail did not offer scenery as cool in my opinion. Definitely a great workout with plenty of cover underneath the forest but I prefer more scenery.

Beautiful and challenging. Walks through Mountain sides and into the woods below the peaks.

There are several really nice views from higher up. We went in the late summer so there wasn't much running water but during the spring I would expect to see several streams. There are a few steeper parts but anyone in general good shape should have no problem. Bang for the buck this is a very good hike.
