Helen Putnam Regional Park is a regional park in California. It's named after the late glass ceiling busting first female mayor of Petaluma and the first woman to preside over the [League of California cities] (https://www.cacities.org)
The park features numerous trails suitable for hiking, bicycling, and horseback riding. The trails include an unconnected segment of the Bay Area Ridge Trail
Main entrance to the park via its south west entrance off of Chileno Valley road.
A small amount of street parking also exists on the north east side of the park on Oxford Court.

The park is at its busiest around mid day on the weekends and at its most quiet during early morning and just prior to closing 8pm.
Parking is 7$ and free to members.
Dog friendly - dogs on lease permitted on all trails.
