More stars if it were just for the view. Since the Scully Ridge trail is overgrown a few points were taken off.

Great loop in Chino Hills State Park. Rolling hills and the two highest peaks in the park, San Juan Hill and Gilman Peak. Counter clockwise is best.

Very pleasant hike particularly in the winter. There is no water and it is very exposed so would not recommend in the summer beautiful vistas

Easy trail with good views of Baldy. Did lots of miles. Burn area wasn’t too bad.

Fairly rudimentary trail, with scrub oaks and brown hills. The Gilman peak trail is fairly steep in sections and a bit overgrown.

If you are training for the stronger hikes like what you find in the San Gabriels or Gorgonio wilderness then this is it. If you just want a scenic moderate hike it is a good one. Great views and a lot of solitude.
