The Setúbal Municipal Route (PR2, Alto do Formosinho) departs from the village of Azeitão and passes through the Picholeiros valley, on the way there is a camping area and beautiful villas here and there. The highest point of the Serra Arrabida (501 m) can be seen from the valley and reminds us of the main target of the trail. After the valley, the path to the top goes along most of the path, which is "inside the tunnel" formed by bushes. The rest of the kilometer of ascent is demanding and rocky. I wouldn't come to these paths in rainy weather. The top of Serra Arrabida has good views, visible in good weather, for example to Azeitão, Seixal, Barreiro, Sintra and Troia. Descend then by the opposite side of the mountain, following a path covered with bushes, formimg same way "a tunnel". The PR- 2 route ends at Portinho de Arrabida. I made a small addition to it, hiking through Praia do Creiro to Praia Figueirinha. From here I then took the bus.

way too overgrown in may 2020, pain of bushes scratching you for 5km not worth the views

The hike is really nice, the view at the top is great. However, the trails are not well maintained and some sections require fighting with the bushes and some spider webs. Take trousers.
