An excellent hike from Imlil (track starts near our Riad) to the Cafe at the col and then on to the peak. Stunning scenery at the top of course but track also takes you through little villages and interactions with locals. It’s a long old schlep and gets a bit technical at the top. Views are amazing at the first peak after the cafe when you see the other side (2650m) however onward hike to summit gives you 360 panorama and I believe a view of Toubkal peak but I’m not sure. It can be easy to get lost near the top so you need to keep an eye out for rock piles and take it easy. We did this with no guide, but you need to be mountain savvy to do it all the way to the top. Views and light on the way down as the sun set were incredible.
