Gravel road hike to visitors center and boat tour was unimpressive bit side trail was interesting with a stream crossing about a mile in. Wish had more time here. Thunderstorms prevented further exploration.

Beautiful walk through Forest Pond edge and bog. Many wildflowers, including hundreds of Bluebead lilies, tall white orchids, and Pitcher plants with sundews in company. The downside was the mosquitoes.

A long day in 30C weather but well worth it. Incredible views on the way up, at the top, and on the way down.

Views are worth the steep ascent and the tricky descent. It feels like you are on another planet up there. Worth the trip. GPS super helpful, especially for finding your way up and finding where to descend. On top, you can basically follow the coast of the mountain.
