Peters Creek Grove via Slate Creek Trail()

Hiked from Long Ridge OSP to Peter's Creek in Pescadero State Park. A day after many days of rain and storms. Creeks were flowing, fungi are coming out, the forest feel fresh, but with many fallen tree branches and some trees on the trails.

Started at Long Ridge Open Space Preserve on Skyline Blvd and hiked down into Portola Redwoods State Park to see the Peters Creek Redwood Grove. It's one of the few old growth groves in the area.
