Foothills Trail Loop()

Great hike! The uphill was extremely strenuous and busted my ass big time. The Carolina Outdoor Society hikers were Robert,Kathy and Al who provided great support, humor and companionship. Not much bird life but one wildflower - Robin's Plantain. The view going up Saassafras and on top were awesome! Looking forward to more hikes! Now for the Ibuprofen drip!

This trail is in great condition! I know a lot of the previous comments mentioned it being steep it is for some but this day was epic! Lots of good hard climb and flats that got super flat.. the top is awesome, South Carolina done good! The run down was perfecto! A few roots for the eyeballs but fast 💨
