Overview
NOTE: Despite being marked here as a 5 mile loop, it is not. I recorded a track on 5/18/2019 and the loop, including both overlooks, is 3.9 miles. Hiking Project has it at 3.6 miles. It is definitely not 5.
This is an easy to moderate loop trail to Wolf Rock in Catoctin Mountain Park.
This trail goes by Chimney Rock.

Well, perhaps I can chalk it up to being an out-of-shape old guy, but this was NOT an easy hike. Actually, NPS Catoctin Mountain Park lists it as "strenuous." Leaving the hills aside (though some were pretty darn steep), the worst part for me was how rocky the trail was, particularly the part that runs parallel to Route 77. It was a real pain navigating the very, VERY rocky trail.
I did this hike because it was listed as "Easy" by this website. You might want to reconsider that.
