Nordic Base to Camp Three Falls
A two day hike with a stop at Sheep Camp for the night. Pretty cold in April, with temperatures during the day ranging in the mid-40's and at night in the 20's.
First day hike up to Mt. Pinos (highest mountain in Ventura County, then down to Sheep Camp is tough uphill but doable for 10 year old and above.
Second day is all downhill that can be rough on shins and thighs, but incredible changing landscapes, from mountains, to plains then to beautiful Canyon. Make a slight detour to view the falls towards the end.
