Excellent hike to Bass Lake and back. We left the trailhead around 7:30am and returned at 4pm after spending an hour at the lake. Trail in good condition. Much less use once you pass the falls, and the trail bed becomes chunky rocks as you approach the lake. We took the north loop both ways, and Gaia recorded 16.8 miles. I slept well after the hike!
