Overview
This is 1/2 of the Pioneer Cabin loop from the long gulch trailhead. Trail work clearing was completed summer of 2023. Sections of this trail are steep, loose and rocky, due to that this is the preferred uphill side if you are completing the loop. There are beautiful wildflowers along this trail if you are here in the right season.

Parking is provided at the trailhead.
Taking Children
Not recommended for young children due to steep rocky sections roughly 3/4 of the way up the trail.
This is an alternate route for Long Gulch and Pioneer Cabin Loop.
