Hemlock Trail
Overview
This is a moderate out and back trail in Laurel Hill State Park.
The Hemlock Trail is the most popular hike in the park. Visitors will walk through the enchanted Hemlock Forest, which tower over the trail. At 1.3 miles, it's the perfect length to get lost in the scenery for an hour!
Getting Started
From the access point, there is a parking area located on the opposite side of the bridge. After a few steps on trail, you have the choice to proceed uphill to the left or downhill to the right. It's a loop trail, so you will find your way back to the split either way.
Taking Children
This is a great hike for children! The short distance and very mild elevation makes this a great family trail.
