My wife and I hiked this loop in March. We took our time and it took most of a day to hike. We started at Caney Creek trailhead and hiked Caney Creek Trail to the junction with Buckeye Mtn Trail. Took Buckeye Mtn Trail and hiked to that trail’s trailhead and then walked Forest Service road back to Caney Creek trailhead. We had a good time and there are some great views and pretty country. We will probably hike this loop again.
